A look at the latest Leeds United transfer rumours on Wednesday, 2 March.
Leeds United handed boost in Brennan Johnson pursuit
The Whites have reportedly been handed a boost in their pursuit of Championship hotshot Brennan Johnson, according to Football Insider. The Nottingham Forest forward has been a key member in their push for a play-off berth this season.
The 20-year-old shone in Forest's win over Arsenal in the FA Cup and Steve Cooper's side reportedly turned down a number of bids for his services in January.
However, the former Lincoln City loanee is not believed to be in any rush to sign a new deal with Forest, handing the likes of Leeds and West Ham a massive boost.
Brentford had a reported bid of £18million rejected in the January transfer window and Crystal Palace are also believed to be keen on acquiring his services.
The report claims the Wales international is keen on seeing if any bids come in during the summer before signing a new deal at the City Ground.
His current deal with Forest expires in the summer of 2023.

Aston Villa are expecting a summer of change amid interest in Leeds United midfielder Kalvin Phillips.
Steven Gerrard's side have been long term admirers of the England centre midfielder, and Bielsa's departure could open the door for Phillip's exit, according to the latest reports
In Birmingham Live's Q&A, Aston Villa reporter Ashley Preece said: “Kalvin Phillips is an interesting one now off the back of Bielsa’s sacking. As we know, Villa have long been admirers of the England midfielder. I’m expecting a summer of big change, Gerrard’s already hinted at that.”
