Here are the latest Leeds United transfer rumours on Friday, 17 June 2022.
Leeds battle Saints
Leeds United are battling Southampton for the signing of Manchester City midfielder Romeo Lavia, according to the Athletic. City are reportedly ‘reluctant’ to allow the 18-year-old to leave this summer but acknowledge that he could help the deal that takes Kalvin Phillips to the Etihad Stadium.
Phillips has been earmarked as City’s number one midfield target this summer and according to various reports, a deal is likely. Lavia is a very highly rated young talent, though, and has already made his first team debut at City.
Traore interest
Leeds United still reportedly remain interested in Wolverhampton Wanderers winger Adama Traore, according to TeamTalk. Traore is said to be keen on leaving Molineux this summer and Victor Orta is a long-standing admirer of the Spain international.

Orta was the man who brought Traore to Middlesbrough back in 2016 and has continued to keep tabs on his career. Traore spent the second half of last season on loan at Barcelona, but they opted against triggering the permanent option in the deal.
Leeds eye PSG forward
Leeds United have submitted a bid of around €20 million for Paris Saint Germain striker Arnaud Kalimuendo, according to the Independent. The Whites are keen on adding a new attacker to their ranks this summer and reportedly earmarked Kalimuendo as their number one target.
The 20-year-old is a top young talent and spent last season on loan at Ligue 1 side Lens, where he scored 12 goals. Given how highly PSG still rate Kalimuendo, negotiations are expected to be ‘complicated’, with the French champions thought to be keen on including a buy back clause in the deal.
