A look at the latest Leeds United transfer rumours on Sunday, June 11.
Leeds and Arsenal made approach out of contract Barcelona winger
Sport claims both Leeds United and Arsenal have made an approach for Barcelona youngster Ilias Akhomach. The 19-year-old winger will leave the Nou Camp as a free agent this summer after turning down a new deal.
Earlier this season, reports in Spain claimed Victor Orta and Javi Gracia had managed to convince the youngster to make the move to Elland Road, but the deal is said to have taken a backseat after the pair departed the Whites towards the end of the season. Sport claims both Arsenal and Leeds have made offers for the outgoing Barca winger.
However, the Spain youth international is set to turn down both financial packages and sign for La Liga side Villareal, signing a four-year deal with a release clause in the region of €20m and €30m. Both Leeds and Arsenal are said to have submitted better offers for Akhomach, but he's set to remain in Spain.
Juventus hold talks with Wilfried Gnonto's agents
Gazzetta dello Sport claims Juventus have held talks with the agents of Leeds youngster Wilfried Gnonto. The report claims the Old Lady have also made contact with the agent of fellow Italian Nicolò Zaniolo as they look to reshape their squad.
The report claims a move for either player will depend on the future of Federico Chiesa who could leave Turin this summer. Gnonto was a silver lining in a dismal campaign with Leeds.
The Whites' relegation to the Championship is likely to have a huge impact on any negotiations with Juventus, a loan with an obligation or option to buy clause mentioned.
