Here are the latest Leeds United transfer rumours on Thursday, 1 December.
Meslier
Tottenham Hotspur have been backed to pursue a 'more established' successor than Leeds United's Illan Meslier to Hugo Lloris. Lloris has 18 months left to run on his current deal at Spurs and with the Frenchman now 35, it will be soon time to sign a replacement.
Meslier is among the names to have been linked with succeeding Lloris at Spurs, but journalist Ryan Taylor is expecting Antonio Conte's side to look for a more experienced shotstopper than the Leeds star.
He told The Spurs Chat Podcast: "I don’t really see Spurs as strong contenders for Meslier. With all due respect, I think he’s a good Premier League goalkeeper and he’s obviously young, and he’s going to improve, but I think Spurs would probably be looking for someone a little bit more established.

“I wouldn’t necessarily say Illan Meslier’s in the top five goalkeepers in the Premier League, or even close to that, really. I would actually say he’s in the bottom 10.”
Vazquez update
Leeds United-linked Valencia left back Jesus Vazquez reportedly feels as if he is ready for regular first-team football, according to El Desmarque. Vazquez has played just 149 minutes of La Liga action so far this season, which could trigger a clause that allows him to leave on loan in January.
However, the problem for Leeds is that Vazquez is said to see his long-term future very much at Valencia. Leeds are set to target a new left back in January but it is difficult to see them sanctioning a temporary deal given the problems they have faced in that position in recent seasons.
Birmingham stance
Birmingham City are reportedly holding firm in their stance over Leeds United target George Hall, who still has 18 months remaining on his deal at St. Andrews, according to Birmingham Mail. The Whites have been monitoring Hall for a number of months now and some reports have indicated that they are ready to make their move in the upcoming January window amid Birmingham's ongoing ownership issues.
Hall has made 17 appearances for the Blues in the Championship this season, five of which have come from the start, in what has been a breakout season for the young midfielder. First team football would be harder to come by for Hall in the short term at Elland Road, though a pathway is evidently there with Crysencio Summerville, Sam Greenwood and Joe Gelhardt now very much senior players.
