Southampton to 'beat' Leeds to signing of Manchester City talent
Southampton are reportedly set to beat Leeds United to the signing of Manchester City starlet Shea Charles. The young midfielder has been linked with a move to Elland Road this summer but is closing in on a move to the Saints.
Romano tweeted: "Southampton are closing in on deal to sign Man City 2003 born midfielder Shea Charles. Manchester City will receive £9m fee — it will also include buy back clause and sell on clause for #MCFC.

"Charles will travel this weekend for medical if all goes to plan." Leeds have been linked with the Man City youngster since earlier this year.
The City U21s captain made his senior debut in the Champions League and then the Premier League last season, but looks set to leave the Etihad.
Inter Milan to replace Argentinian flop with Leeds United star
Sportitalia via FcInterNews claims Inter Milan are looking to replace Joaquin Correa with Wilfried Gnonto if they can get the Argentinian to leave the club this summer. Gnonto came through the academy at I Nerazzurri before signing for FC Zurich in 2020.
The young Italian would spend two seasons in Switzerland before linking up with Leeds United where he's burst onto the scene. The report claims Inter want to sign Gnonto on a loan deal with an option to buy following Leeds' relegation to the Championship.
Reports yesterday claimed Gnonto is open to a move away from Elland Road this summer, but is said to favour a move back to the Premier League. Everton are said to be looking to sign the youngster for a cut-price fee.
