A look at the latest Leeds United transfer rumours on Wednesday, July 12.
Serie A club plotting raid for Leo Hjelde
Tutto Salernitana claim Serie A side Salernitana are ramping up their interest in Leeds United youngster Leo Hjelde. The Norwegian defender spent last season on loan with Rotherham United is a reported target for the Italian outfit.
Salernitana are said to rate Hjelde highly and would need to offload some of their current defenders if they were to make a move for the 19-year-old. The versatility of the centre-half is said to be a key factor in a move this summer.

Hjelde has made just five appearances for the Whites in all competitions but helped steer Rotherham United to Championship safety last season. His current contract at Elland Road expires in 2025.
Nottingham Forest keen on selling Emmanuel Dennis
The Athletic claims Nottingham Forest are looking to offload Emmanuel Dennis this summer. Leeds United have been named among the interested parties from other sources, with Dennis failing to make the same impact he did at Watford.
The Nigerian striker scored 10 goals and notched six assists for Watford in the 2021-22 campaign but managed just two goals and two assists. Dennis - who has played in the Champions League scoring twice against Real Madrid - made just six starts, mustering 715 minutes last season.
The 25-year-old isn't in Steve Cooper's plans moving forward and the Whites have been linked with a move for the frontman.
Aberdeen youngster set for Leeds medical
According to Fabrizio Romano, Leeds United are getting closer in their pursuit of in-demand Aberdeen starlet Lewis Pirie.
He claims the teenager will undergo a medical at Thorp Arch later today after a £200,000 deal was last week agreed.
Pirie, who netted 51 goals for club and country youth teams last term, has caught the eye of he likes of Celtic, Crystal Palace and Sheffield United and others.
