Raphinha bid 'rejected'
Leeds United's star winger, Raphinha has been a subject of speculation throughout this season as his form for a relegation battling team has attracted interest from Champions League clubs. Barcelona have been favourites for his signature for some time and concerns about Leeds being relegated to the Championship perhaps meant they would buy him for a bargain fee.
However, Leeds pulled off a remarkable final day escape by beating Brentford whilst Burnley lost to Newcastle and the Whites are now said to have 'rejected' the first bid from the Catalan giants. That's according to footballtransfers.com.
They state that Leeds have turned down €55million for their star man. However, they also claim that the Brazilian has a release clause of €70million.

Newcastle join list of Harrison admirers
Jack Harrison is said to have been a target for Antonio Conte's Tottenham Hotspur in January and it is thought that they might return for Leeds' 10-goal-man. However, reports now state that Spurs may have competition in the shape of Newcastle United.
In an article discussing Leeds ' summer plans, the Daily Mail state: "Tottenham and Newcastle are interested in Jack Harrison". There is no suggestion that the Whites would welcome any bids for the player they signed permanently from Manchester City last summer.
Leeds working on deal for 'Premier League striker'
One of Victor Orta's priorities for the summer will be to sign another striker to reduce the team's reliance on Patrick Bamford, after a season where they badly missed last season's top goalscorer. According to the Athletic, Leeds are targeting a 'Premier League striker' to fill that role:
"The club have agreed a fee for Aaronson from RB Salzburg, and have also been working on Aberdeen defender Calvin Ramsay and a Premier League centre-forward. They planned with the top flight in mind and, by virtue of a manic last day, they have snatched another year in that division."
