Here are the latest Leeds United transfer rumours on Tuesday, 20 September 2022.
Gakpo set to change agent
PSV Eindhoven winger Cody Gakpo is set to change agents in what could be a ‘huge boost’ to the Premier League sides keen on signing him. That is according to Football Insider, who claim Gakpo is eyeing up a change in representatives as he looks to secure a move next year.
Leeds United were among the clubs interested in Gakpo during the summer, and several reports indicate they could return in January. Gakpo has a contract until 2026 at PSV but his long-term future is far from certain.
Lang availability
Fabrizio Romano has claimed Club Brugge winger Noa Lang will be available again in upcoming transfer markets after failing to secure a summer move. Lang was linked with a number of Premier League sides including West Ham, Newcastle and Leeds United during the window but instead stayed in Belgium.

Lang was keen to leave Brugge but an injury late in the market but an end to any hopes he had. Romano, though, told his YouTube channel that Lang will be available for transfer again.
He said: “Noa Lang, a player I really appreciate, I think he’s really underrated. It’s true that Brugge already sold Charles de Ketelaere to AC Milan, but Noa Lang was available on the market.
“He will be available in the future transfer windows, so a really important and interesting opportunity. He was on the list of Leeds for example, and also some other clubs around Europe were tracking him, especially in Italy.
“But now, Noa Lang is still available on the market, so a missed opportunity.”
Shackleton
Jamie Shackleton has opened up on the reasons behind deciding to leave his boyhood club Leeds United on loan in the summer. Shackleton signed a season-long-loan deal with Millwall to leave behind Elland Road for the first time in his career.
Regular game time was hard to come by for Shackleton following Leeds’ promotion, particularly under Jesse Marsch, whom he came off the bench just once for. It is for that reason that he felt it was a good time to move on.
He told Football League World : “That’s one of the big reasons that I came on loan to put a good run of games together and pick up a nice bit of form, something that has been hard to come by for the last couple of years at Leeds. That’s the aim and hopefully, we can continue that.”
