Leeds United transfer rumours as Chelsea forward Armando Broja linked and familiar name emerges

A round-up of the latest Leeds United transfer rumours on Wednesday, 22 June.

Leeds United set to rival Everton, Wolves and West Ham United for Chelsea striker Armando Broja

Leeds United are just one of a number of clubs interested in Chelsea forward Armando Broja who has been linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge this summer.

Broja impressed out on loan at Southampton last season, scoring six goals in 32 Premier League appearances. While those numbers didn't exactly set the world alight, the Albanian international is just 20-years-old, emphasising his potentially high ceiling.

90min report Leeds, alongside West Ham United, Everton and Wolves are all interested in the forward with the Hammers said to be in the lead due to being able to offer European football next season.

Chelsea would likely ask for a hefty fee for the striker which could exceed £30m. A loan move away from Stamford Brigde next season could be possible but it would leave Chelsea light up front should Romelu Lukaku secure a loan move back to Inter Milan.

Leeds United linked with wide-men Noa Lang and Rabbi Matondo

While the summer transfer sage surrounding Raphinha rumbles on, Leeds have been scouring Europe to find players who can improve their first-team squad ahead of next season.

The Telegraph reports that two of those players the Whites are keen on are Noa Lang of Club Brugge and Schalke's Rabbi Matondo.

Lang has been linked with a number of clubs this summer including AC Milan and West Ham who can both offer the Dutch winger European football.

The Dutch international bagged nine goals for Club Brugge this season in all competitions, helping his side to the Belgian First Division title.

Matondo is out of contract with Schalke next summer. The Welsh international signed for the German side back in 2019 from Manchester City for a fee of around £10m. He spent last season out on loan with Cercle Brugge in Belgium, bagging 10 goals in 27 appearances.
