Here are your Leeds United transfer rumours and gossip on Sunday, December 25.
Key Leeds United star 'vulnerable' to Bayern Munich raid
Leeds United goalkeeper Illan Meslier is reportedly 'vulnerable' to a move to German giants Bayern Munich to replace Manuel Neuer after his leg fracture while on holiday over the winter.
Meslier has been Leeds' long-term option for a keeper ever since he took over from Kiko Casilla and now has over 100 appearances for the Whites.
But Bayern reportedly see him as a replacement for Neuer in both the short term and the long term according to French sports outlet Media Foot.
They believe that club officials are already preparing an offer for a January swoop and have been 'in contact' with Meslier's representatives to investigate what a potential offer would look like in the case of personal terms.
German MLS star 'still on' Leeds United list of January wants
Leeds United still have German MLS star left-back Kai Wagner on their list of potential January signings according to the Athletic.
The 25-year-old has been linked with the Whites for the past few weeks but has reportedly risen up the list as one of the top candidates for Jesse Marsch to replace Junior Firpo with.
Wagner has been one of the best defenders across the MLS over the past few seasons, with him and Philadelphia Union reaching the MLS Cup final off the back of his nine assists.
If the Whites were to try and make a deal when the window opens next month, it's believed OGC Nice and Premier League rivals Newcastle United are still showing an interest in the German, meaning they'd face some tough competition for his signature.
Journalist confirms DC United 'very keen' on Mateusz Klich
Mateusz Klich potentially swapping Leeds United for DC United is no secret but it appears to have been confirmed by The Athletic journalist Phil Hay.
Some fans saw Klich's sudden lengthy inclusion in the winter break friendlies as a plea by manager Jesse Marsch to keep him on the books but Hay revealed the news which Marsch has been quite muted about over the past few weeks.
"They’re very keen, DC United, it’s a good offer as well, I think it would be a fairly long contract that would take him into his mid-30s and it’s a nice city, a new adventure.
"I wrote about Klich after the news about DC United came out and also after the game against Elche where Marsch sort of said afterwards, I’m not really in a position to say where this is going to go and was implying there was some doubt about whether Klich would stay because he hasn’t been playing too much this season."
