Here are your Leeds United transfer rumours on Saturday, October 1.
PSV Eindhoven ask Leeds United for club-record fee for services of Cody Gakpo
Cody Gakpo has been lighting up the Eredivisie at the start of the season so it's no surprise they're asking clubs interested in the Dutchman for what would be a club-record fee if they want his services as soon as January.
The 23-year-old has scored 10 goals in 13 games across all competitions with six assists to compliment those - and is set for many more if he can keep up this immense form.
He was linked with a move to Leeds United in the summer transfer window but the deal feel through after Gakpo felt staying at PSV would help cement his place in the Netherlands World Cup squad.

According to FootballTransfers, PSV are asking for at least €45 million for Gakpo - which would make him the club's record sale, breaking Hirving Lonzano's record move to Napoli back in 2019.
Other Premier League clubs interested in Gakpo include Southampton, Everton and Manchester United and all eyes will be on his performances in November at the Qatar World Cup to see if that price tag raises even higher.
Leeds owner Andrea Radrizzani is said to still be interested in trying to chase the 23-year-old's signature but Erik Ten Hag's side will be stiff competition.
Rangers told winger Ryan Kent might make move to Elland Road if contract dispute isn't solved
Former Scottish international Andy Walker has told Rangers that their star winger Ryan Kent will look to leave Ibrox if he doesn't sign a new deal before January.
The 25-year-old could sign a pre-contract agreement with another club in the January transfer window which would be a huge loss for Rangers after his incredible 80 goal involvements in just 184 games.
Leeds were linked with Kent late on in the summer transfer window but no move materialised although Jesse Marsch's side could swoop back in if there's a chance of acquiring the young Englishman's talent.
“I think he’ll sign for another club in January, he’ll sign a pre-contract and it’s a big loss. Not just a talented player but in a business sense you’re not getting any money for him,” Walker said to Go Radio.
