Leeds 'concerned' over Matheus Cunha development
Leeds United are said to be 'concerned' over the increased competition in the race to secure Matheus Cunha's signature from Atletico Madrid.
With Patrick Bamford's 2022/2023 campaign blighted by a lack of fitness, the goalscoring burden has fallen upon Rodrigo's shoulders at Elland Road.
The Spaniard impressively netted nine goals in just 13 Premier League appearances prior to the World Cup break for Jesse Marsch's side. However, attacking reinforcements in January are pivotal to aspirations of survival following the top-flight's recommencement.

Rumours began to emerge stating that the Whites had identified Cunha as an attacker to support the likes of Rodrigo and Bamford, as Atletico look to raise funds this winter.
Though, a potential move could now be in doubt as the Evening Standard reports that Leeds, alongside Wolverhampton Wanderers, Leeds are worried that the Brazilian could join Chelsea after being offered to the London club.
Possible Drameh destination ruled out
Cody Drameh could well be on the way to leaving Leeds United in January, but he will not join Michael Carrick's Middlesbrough.
Having returned from a successful loan spell at Cardiff City across the second half of last season, multiple sources claim that Drameh is unhappy with the sporadic role he has been provided with at Leeds and is likely to depart Elland Road in the near future.
Several Premier League, Championship and European clubs are thought to be in the hunt for Drameh, who has made just two first-team appearances under Jesse Marsch. The American boss admitted back in August that "he [Drameh] wants to play games."
Whilst a transfer to the Championship is likely to provide Drameh with the best chance of doing so, Teeside Live report that Boro are not interested in acquiring his services despite previous links.
Club correspondent Craig Johns wrote: “As I understand it, there is legitimate Boro interest in Barlaser and Stewart but not Cody Drameh. I’ve been told that Drameh isn’t on the shortlist, with a right-back not a priority for Boro in January. Leeds are likely to demand a high fee also.”
Permanent Shackleton exit to 'hinge on transfer fee'
A deal for Millwall to sign Jamie Shackleton permanently will "hinge on the transfer fee" that Leeds United demand.
Hemsworth-born Shackleton made his debut for Leeds in 2018 and went on to 78 appearances for the Whites, mostly featuring on the way to promotion under Marcelo Bielsa.
Whilst the 23-year-old's versatility made him a valuable asset to the squad at Elland Road, it was decided Shackleton would join Gary Rowett's side on loan in July, with the agreement including an option to buy at its conclusion.
He has only made 12 starts at the Den this season, completing his seven other appearances from the substitutes bench. Nevertheless, Alex Jones, Millwall reporter for Southwark News, believes the Lions will be interested in keeping Shackleton beyond this season.
He explained: "I’m sure Millwall would like to keep him because there’s undoubtedly potential for him to develop into a solid top-flight player, but it will really hinge on the transfer fee and whether they believe they can find better value in the transfer window next summer."
