Jesse Marsch has made eight changes to his Leeds United side to take on Aston Villa at Villa Park this evening. The Whites haven’t won in six games in all competitions and they’ll be keen to bring that sorry run to an end this evening with a win at Villa Park.
Illan Meslier replaces Joel Robles between the sticks after overcoming the knock that ruled him out of Sunday’s FA Cup clash against Cardiff City. Tyler Adams, Robin Koch, Liam Cooper and Marc Roca also come back into the side after shaking off their respective issues.
There’s no Crysencio Summerville, who will be missing for a month with an ankle injury. That means Jack Harrison makes his first start of the calendar year, with Brenden Aaronson potentially moving back to join the midfield three.

Wilfried Gnonto keeps his place on the flank, while Rodrigo steps back into the side to lead the attacking line. Rodrigo might make way for Patrick Bamford, though, at some stage this evening with the striker returning from injury in time to be involved.
Bamford hasn’t been seen since the win over Liverpool at Anfield in October, but after recovering from the surgery he had in December, he’s back in the squad as a substitute.
Leeds: Illan Meslier; Luke Ayling, Robin Koch, Liam Cooper, Pascal Struijk; Tyler Adams, Marc Roca, Brenden Aaronson; Jack Harrison, Rodrigo, Wilfried Gnonto.
Bench: Joel Robles, Rasmus Kristensen, Max Wober, Junior Firpo, Diego Llorente, Sam Greenwood, Joe Gelhardt, Patrick Bamford, Sonny Perkins.
