Leeds United supporters XI for Elche as Adam Forshaw tipped to return after lengthy absence

Leeds United supporters have called for the return of Adam Forshaw when they face Elche at the Estadio Manuel Martinez Valero on Thursday.

Forshaw is back with the squad after over three months on the sidelines. His spell at Elland Road has been marred by injuries and his future is in doubt with his contract currently expiring in the summer.

Tyler Adams and Brenden Aaronson are unavailable after starring at the World Cup with USA, which has left two places up for grabs in midfield.

Leeds fans have been selecting their XI for the friendly against Elche and have chosen Forshaw to play alongside Sam Greenwood and Marc Roca in the heart of midfield.

Joel Robles has been given the nod to start between the sticks, behind a four-man defence of Luke Ayling, Robin Koch, Liam Cooper and Pascal Struijk.

Crysencio Summerville and Jack Harrison have been backed to start on the flanks, while Rodrigo, who has scored nine league goals this term, is tipped to lead the line.

Leeds' Fan XI (4-5-1): J Robles; L Ayling, R Koch, L Cooper, P Struijk; C Summerville, S Greenwood, M Roca, A Forshaw, J Harrison; Rodrigo.
