Leeds United supporters weigh in as Wilfried Gnonto drops to bench against Chelsea

Leeds United supporters have given their thoughts on Javi Gracia's XI to face historic rivals Chelsea as they head to Stamford Bridge for their Premier League clash this afternoon.

Last weekend saw the Whites take a big step towards escaping relegation as Junior Firpo's second-half goal saw them take a 1-0 win over drop zone rivals Southampton but it was disappointment in midweek after losing 2-0 to Fulham in the F.A Cup.

However, Graham Potter's Blues have won just two of their last 15 matches and will be there for the taking as they deal with a few key injuries to the likes of Thiago Silva, Mason Mount and Reece James.

Illan Meslier continues his duties in between the sticks, while Luke Ayling replaces Rasmus Kristensen at right-back while Max Wober lines up alongside Robin Koch and left-back Firpo.

USMNT duo Tyler Adams and Weston McKennie both sit in midfield while Crysencio Summerville and Jack Harrison start either side of Brenden Aaronson who is making his second straight start.

January transfer window signing Georginio Rutter is the lone striker up front with Patrick Bamford missing from the matchday squad.

Wilfried Gnonto makes an appearance on the bench alongside Joel Robles, Pascal Struijk, Rasmus Kristensen, Darko Gyabi, Marc Roca, Archie Gray, Sam Greenwood, and Mateo Joseph.

Many fans took to social media to discuss the line-up, with opinions split on whether Gnonto's start on the bench was a positive or a negative going into an important match.
