Leeds United supporters have seen the funny side of the Elland Road power cut which temporarily halted their game with league leaders Arsenal. Play was stopped following a power issue at the ground, which meant VAR and goal line technology were not working correctly.
Supporters took to social media to ask why play could not continue without the refereeing support, whilst also poking fun at the cost of living crisis.
Play is expected to continue when the systems are back up and running. Little had happened in the game before it was brought to a stop but Jesse Marsch will be keen to see his side react positively to the stoppage as they look to bring an end to their five-game winless streak.
