Leeds United supporters continue to wait on tenterhooks to see what their favourite players will be wearing for the 2022/23 season. There has been no information released so far regarding the club’s new set of kits and fans are beginning to get impatient.
The only thing those supporters have been able to get excited about are the leaks that continue to surface on social media. The latest of those suggests that Leeds will return to having a yellow away shirt which will be paired with blue Adidas stripes.
Unsurprisingly, fans are ecstatic to see the return of a yellow away shirt which, if true, would be the first time since the 2015/16 campaign that the Whites will play their away games in yellow. Although, before supporters get too carried away, it is purely a leak which is not substantiated by any of the official channels.

While those fans will be aware that it is unlikely the final shirt will look like that, they are hoping for a nice collection of kits for the 2022/23 season after they were left disappointed by last season’s array. They will be desperate for Adidas to respond positively to the negative reviews of 12 months ago as they move into the third year of their five-year deal with the famous German sportswear brand.
Fans that saw the leaked away shirt engaged in discussion on Reddit. Here is what some of them had to say:
Ispiniallday claimed : “That’s the dream shirt right there.”
downfallndirtydeeds said : “No one else plays in yellow home shirt just use this for every game it’s dreamy.”
phillhb added : “Don’t threaten me with a good time!”
flori5578 said : “Love it!”
Although, a couple of fans weren’t so sure about the leak.
CC-W asked : Can we just stop with the silly V-neck and button-up collars? Give me a standard round collar please.”
OwlLibrarian claimed : “I'm sure I'll be in the minority but I think it looks awful. Never been that bothered about the obsession with having yellow. Most of our yellow kits are terrible.”
