Leeds United ran out 6-2 winners over Cagliari in what was their final pre-season fixture before the start of the Premier League.
The Whites' six goals came through hat-trick hero Rodrigo, a brace from Patrick Bamford and a late header from Robin Koch while Cagliari netted twice through Gianluca Lapadula and Zito Luvumbo.
Bamford's first goal will certainly give Leeds fans something to be excited about. The England international collected a wonderful through ball on the counter from summer signing Brenden Aaronson, took two touches to set himself and then finished with ruthless aplomb.
Jesse Marsch will hope to see more of that link up between Aaronson and Bamford this season as well as an improved output from Rodrigo.

And following Leeds' pre-season finale, Whites supporters took to social media to give their thoughts on the emphatic win over Cagliari...
@Nofacekillahh tweeted: "Lots of good points to take, Aaronson looking a good buy, very unselfish. Do worry about the holes on the wings when caught on the counter up against the big boys. Great way to end pre season."
@CrossMagic tweeted: "Cheers lads she enjoyed that. After watching her Lionesses win the Euros, she's now watched her beloved Whites cruise that game. She said Harrison was the best player on the pitch, Rodrigo is a baller, and the new signings look class."
@AnotherLeedsFan tweeted: "Brilliant today boys, plenty of optimism to have had from that performance."
@UnitedLeeds_1 tweeted: "So delighted for Bamford and Rodrigo. How good was Aaronson & Adams though. Koch & Meslier played well too. Confidence is high."
@GeorgeMacphers1: "Best performance of preseason. All the other games weren’t as good. Need to buy a striker to both backup Bamford and challenge him for the starting lineup. On the other hand the defence needs working on to strengthen it up."
