Leeds United supporters will be hoping Pontus Jansson is one of several Brentford players who is not quite at the races on Sunday. The Whites travel to West London for the final game of the season knowing that victory is essential if they are to have any chance of staying in the Premier League.
The Bees have already done their upcoming opponents one favour by dragging Everton back into the relegation battle with a 3-2 win at Goodison Park on Sunday. However, Leeds fans won’t want to see such a spirited performance when they visit the Brentford Community Stadium in their 38th game of the season.
The game will have an added edge as Jansson will be the man leading his side out of the tunnel on Sunday. It will be the third time he has faced Leeds since leaving in July 2019 and it is certainly the biggest of the three given what is at stake.
