Leeds United fans want Jesse Marsch to start Joe Gelhardt against Crystal Palace on Monday night. The 19-year-old has not started a league game since the 4-1 defeat to Arsenal in December but supporters are clamouring to see him in the side.
Ironically, the man fans voted to omit from the side in his place - Dan James - has started every Premier League fixture since that defeat to the Gunners. Fans have also urged Marsch to thrust Phillips back into the action against the Eagles.
The England midfielder has featured from the bench in recent weeks after recovering from a hamstring problem but Marsch claimed he is fit to play ahead of the trip to South London. A season-ending injury to Adam Forshaw means Whites supporters will likely see their wish granted.

Elsewhere, Leeds fans believe the American should make no further changes from the side that claimed a 3-0 victory against Watford last time out. Defensive fragilities have plagued the Whites this season but a clean sheet a fortnight ago gives Marsch a straightforward decision in defence.
This is the team LeedsLive readers have chosen to face Patrick Vieira’s men.
(4-4-2) Meslier; Ayling, Llorente, Cooper, Dallas; Raphinha, Phillips, Klich, Harrison, Rodrigo, Gelhardt
