Oleksandr Zinchenko has reportedly been given the green light to leave Manchester City this summer and that news seems to have piqued the interest of Leeds United fans. The left-back has been with the Premier League champions since 2016 after signing from Russian club Ufa, but with City looking to sign Marc Cucurella from Brighton and Hove Albion, Zinchenko could be deemed surplus to requirements.
He has already been linked with a number of clubs, with Arsenal, West Ham United and Everton being named by the Daily Mail. However, his apparent availability has prompted a number of Leeds fans to take to social media to express their desire to see the club make a move for the Ukraine international.
Zinchenko has been used primarily as a left-back under Pep Guardiola, stepping into the side with regularity when Joao Cancelo has been used elsewhere. And, with Leeds seemingly short of options on the left side of their defensive line, he fits the bill for many.
