Rodrigo Moreno has been the most reliable player for Leeds United this season but hasn't been picked in a Spain squad this season, despite the numerous international breaks.
In fact, he hasn't made an appearance for his country for over 18 months - even though in that time, he's netted 19 goals for the Whites across all competitions.
Looking at those ahead of him in the national pecking order, names like Alvaro Morata, Iago Aspas and Nico Williams have been staples over the past 12 months and were all part of their 2022 World Cup squad before being knocked out by Morocco on penalties in the Round of 16.

And despite his excellent early season form, the Leeds star was not selected and instead left at home to train at Thorp Arch over the winter break.
However, that could all change now as Spanish outlet Fichajes believes that the 32-year-old is in with a shout at donning the national team shirt once again.
They highlight the 'resurrection' of his 'best version' for Leeds this season as a prime reason why Spain boss Luis de la Fuente would consider him for their next round of international fixtures.
His success this season - 13 goals and two assists in 26 matches for the Whites - is a 'resurgence that had been awaited for some time' and could signal a way back into the team for him.
