Leeds United star Jack Harrison has revealed that his failed deadline day move to Leicester City "opened my eyes", after he admitted that the squad have "the fight" to stay in the Premier League this season.
Harrison started for Leeds during their 2-0 defeat to Manchester United at Elland Road on Sunday afternoon. Two late goals from Marcus Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho saw the hard work that the Whites had put in for 80 minutes undone in the closing stages.
Michael Skubala - alongside Chris Armas and Paco Gallardo - oversaw the squad for their second game against Man United in the space of the week. Harrison has since explained that the mood in the dressing room was still a positive one despite what was ultimately a frustrating result for the club.

“What was said was that we just have to be proud of ourselves for how we played, not only today but during the week as well,” Harrison told Stadium Astro.
“It’s just the fight that we have within us. We did let it down a bit towards the end, but as a group where we are in the league we just have to stay positive and focus on those things and being in the present. That’s what we have to do going forward.”
Harrison was also asked about his reported deadline day move to the Foxes, and although the Leeds star remained tight-lipped on the subject, he did admit the final hours of the window were a bit of a learning curve for the way that last-minute deals take place.
"I don't want to talk too much about it because for me as a player, all I want to do is play football and do my best on the pitch," he added. "The situation opened my eyes to a lot of things that goes on behind the scenes but at the end of the day it's how you focus back in as a player.
"At the highest level you have to deal with all these things and that's what I am trying to do and just try and focus on me and the team and what's best and that's it really."
