Leeds United finally make their return following the six-week World Cup break with a very tough test against Manchester City. The Whites will be hoping to cause a major upset at Elland Road against the Premier League champions, who themselves are in need of three points to close the gap on early pace setters Arsenal.
Despite the long break, Leeds have a number of fitness doubts heading into the game with as many as nine players having question marks against them. That starts in goal with Illan Meslier - who missed all three friendlies due to glandular fever - though Jesse Marsch was hopeful of his availability in his press conference last week.
In defence, Liam Cooper will be hoping to be fit after his minor calf injury saw him absent against Monaco. Everyone else, though, including Robin Koch and Diego Llorente are set to be in contention.

Leeds will be without key man Tyler Adams due to suspension on Wednesday, leaving Adam Forshaw and Sam Greenwood to fight it out for a place in midfield. Luis Sinisterra and Stuart Dallas are also set to miss out as they continue their recoveries from respective long-term injuries.
In attack, there are question marks as to whether Patrick Bamford will be available after missing all three friendlies. Marsch hinted that Bamford was to return to training last week, but there has been no confirmation of that.
Crysencio Summerville is in a similar boat after his foot injury against Elche, and Leeds will desperate for him to be fit given his form before the break. Rodrigo Moreno and Jack Harrison will also hoping to be fit after their minor injury concerns saw them miss the Monaco game.
Full squad: Meslier, Robles, Kristensen, Drameh, Ayling, Koch, Llorente, Cooper, Struijk, Firpo, Roca, Forshaw, Greenwood, Klich, Summerville, Harrison, Rodrigo, Gnonto, Bamford, Gelhardt
