Leeds United sent Jack Harrison future warning amid Kieran Trippier Newcastle United claim

Pundit Gabby Agbonlahor believes Leeds United winger Jack Harrison will want to sign a "big" money contract at Newcastle United.

Harrison is in the final two years of his contract at Leeds and Agbonlahor doesn't expect the 25-year-old to sign a new deal with his current employers.

Newcastle had two bids turned down by Leeds for Harrison in the summer, but the former Aston Villa forward expects Harrison to be tempted by the contracts that players such as Kieran Trippier and Dan Burn are on at St James' Park.

"It's 'Can I go and get double-and-a-half my money at Newcastle? Or, sign for a little bit more at Leeds?," Agbonlahor told the Football Insider.

"Leeds won't be big payers. Maybe, he's looking at that. Football, yes, you love playing at clubs but you want to be earning as much money as possible.

"Maybe that's going through his mind. He'll see Dan Burn, Trippier and all these players going for big money wages and thinking of that himself. I don't think he signs a new contract unless Leeds improve his pay a lot."

Harrison has scored 29 goals and provided 25 assists in 172 matches across all competitions for Leeds. He has already registered one goal and three assists in just six appearances for the Whites this term.
