Leeds United have sacked Jesse Marsch ahead of the club’s two clashes with Manchester United this week.
The Whites are currently only being kept out of the relegation zone by goal difference following Sunday’s loss to Nottingham Forest. They make the trip to Old Trafford on Wednesday before hosting the Reds at Elland Road on Saturday, both of which are Premier League games.
It is thought that Chris Armas - the former assistant of Ralf Rangnick at United - will be put in caretaker charge of Leeds until an appointment is made. Marsch was announced as the successor to Marcelo Bielsa on February 28 last year.
