The countdown to the World Cup is well and truly underway with just two Premier League fixtures left for Leeds United until the winter break. Jesse Marsch's side have a Carabao Cup game against Wolves sandwiched in between games against Bournemouth and Tottenham Hotspur.
The Whites will look to build on last weekend's impressive win against Liverpool by finishing strong ahead of a two-month break. Looking ahead to the World Cup, Leeds United supporters should have the opportunity to watch a number of their players in action in Qatar.
A number of nations could hand Leeds' stars tickets on the plane in the coming days - but who stands a chance and who is expected to miss out?

France
Illan Meslier made quite the statement against Liverpool as the Whites ended their 29-game unbeaten Premier League run at Anfield. The 22-year-old has featured heavily for France's U21s in recent seasons but a first senior call-up has evaded him.
It looks like a long shot of making the squad for the World Cup this season having been left out of the preliminary squad. Hugo Lloris, Mike Maignan, Alban Lafot and Alphonse Areola are all ahead of him in the pecking order. You wouldn't bet again him making a senior international debut in the near future, however.
Germany
Robin Koch was left out of Hansi Flick's most recent Germany squad to face Hungary and England in the Nations League. However, the Whites defender has been one of Leeds' best performers this season and could be called up if injuries kick in.
The versatile defender was named in the 55-man provisional squad alongside West Ham’s Thilo Kehrer as one of 15 defenders.
USA
Leeds United's two summer arrivals of Brenden Aaronson and Tyler Adams are dead certs for USA at the World Cup. Hopefully neither sustain any injuries in the run up to the tournament, but both have featured heavily for their country.
The pair have both impressed since arriving at Elland Road this summer and were key in the win at Liverpool.
England
Jack Harrison started the season in fine form for his club, which saw his odds to make the World Cup slashed. However, a downturn in form, coinciding with Leeds' struggles in the league, has seen those hopes fade after being omitted from the most recent Three Lions' squad.
"I think, obviously just trying to get as many points for the club as I can,” Harrison told talkSPORT when asked about his personal and club goals. “In terms of personal goals it matches up with the team goals as well. If I’m doing well, the team is hopefully doing well as well. Trying to get as many goals and assists as possible.
“I’ve got England, in the future I want to try and make it to the national team. It’s been a bit of a rough patch at the minute but I’ve still got that goal in mind and I’m pushing for that. With the team hopefully we can get as points as we can before the international break and then see where we are and try to finish as high up the table as we can.”
Patrick Bamford will have also had hopes of making the World Cup after making his England debut last year, but injuries and a poor run of form in front of goal look set to rule him out.
Spain
Leeds United duo Diego Llorente and Rodrigo have both been included in a leaked 55-man provisional squad for the World Cup. The Spanish duo have both played a part for their country throughout recent seasons.
As for Rodrigo, he's been an important part of the Leeds side so far this season with five goals and one assist in 10 appearances, however, he has not made any of Spain's last three squads. His last appearance for his country came almost 12 months ago in the 1-0 win over Sweden which secured their qualification for the tournament.
Netherlands
Pascal Struijk's recent change of allegiance to the Netherlands could see him head to Qatar later this month. The Dutch youth international was handed a provisional call-up last month but is yet to feature for the senior team.
"It's a dream for every player to go to the World Cup but I'm not too focused about that right now," Struijk told BBC West Yorkshire Sport Daily earlier this season. I'm more focused about how I'm playing. So far I'm doing well I think and I just need to try and keep the momentum going and see what happens in the future.
"I haven't spoken with anyone but it's up to them. I'll just wait, try and do my thing and we'll see."
Denmark
Another dead cert to head to Qatar later this month, is Rasmus Kristensen. The Danish defender has been an ever-present since joining from RB Salzburg in the summer.
The Whites are starting to see the best of the right-back, with a solid display against Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool.
Poland
Mateusz Klich has struggled for game time at Leeds United this season but should still make the Poland squad later this month. Klich has been influential for the Whites since reaching the Premier League, but has not been fancied by Marsch this season.
At 32 years old, this could be his last chance to play at the World Cup.
Wales
Both Daniel James and Tyler Roberts are currently on loan away from Elland Road, but have both played for Wales in recent seasons. The former of that duo has struggled at Fulham, while Roberts - who is currently injured - has spent the start of the campaign with Championship high fliers QPR.
Roberts is still set to feature at the World Cup according to boss Michael Beale, despite being ruled out until the start of the tournament.
