Leicester City's survival chances are set to be boosted by the return of two key players, as they scrap it out at the bottom of the Premier League with Leeds United. Leeds sit third-bottom of the Premier League table after Sam Allardyce's side picked up a point in yesterday's 2-2 draw against Newcastle United, one place and one point above the Foxes who have yet to play this weekend and face European hopefuls Liverpool at the King Power Stadium tomorrow night.
Leicester boss Dean Smith is set to be without a number of first-teamers when Jurgen Klopp's side visit, with centre-back Jannick Vestergaard, and full-backs James Justin and Ryan Bertrand still sidelined. However Leicester have no new injury problems ahead of the Liverpool game and there is a chance that Portuguese full-back Ricardo Pereira will make his first appearance under the new manager.
Pereira has been out recently with a hamstring injury but was on the bench for Leicester's last game against Fulham, and has since had another week in full training. Smith said: "Nobody's come out of the squad. Ricky is back in full training as well now so we are as we were."

Looking beyond the Liverpool game, Leicester could receive a real shot in the arm for their final two matches at Newcastle and at home to West Ham with striker Kelechi Iheanacho closing in on a return. The Nigerian was not expected to play again this season after tearing a groin muscle in Leicester's draw at Leeds, but he his recovery has progressed quicker than expected and he is set to train next week and could be involved against the Magpies a week tomorrow.
Smith said: "Hopefully he's due to train earlier next week rather than later. We thought he'd only have a build-up of two days before the Newcastle game, but he's ahead of schedule, which is really pleasing for us."
