Trevor Sinclair says Leeds United's Premier League rivals Wolves 'haven't done themselves any favours' by loaning Conor Coady to Everton.
Leeds beat Wolves 2-1 on the opening day of the season at Elland Road, and Coady was an unused substitute in the defeat. The centre-back's future has been uncertain this summer, with Coady wanting the guarantee of regular playing time with the World Cup on the horizon.
Coady has been an ever-present in Wolves' backline for the last seven seasons, but Nathan Collins and Max Kilman were the starting centre-backs against the Whites for the opening day defeat.
Sinclair was at Elland Road to watch Leeds' victory over Bruno Lage's side, and he believes the visitors missed Coady, claiming Leeds were all over the Wolves backline 'like a rash'.
"He's an absolutely superb player," Sinclair told talkSPORT.
"When you talk about a defensive player, you want reliability, you want a leader, you want communication - he does all of those things.
"He does them all superbly well. In a three, I think he's one of the best in the Premier League, I really do. Wolves haven't done themselves any favours.
"I was at the game at Elland Road and they played with a four. They missed him, and Leeds were like a rash all over them."
