Brenden Aaronson celebrated signing for Leeds United with a goal and an excellent performance for the USA in their 3-0 victory over Morocco on Thursday. The 21-year-old had jetted out for international duty immediately after signing his contract at Elland Road last week.
The new Leeds star came in for high praise from US fans and pundits alike after his performance as a number eight for the national team. Previously, he had primarily played on the left wing for Greg Berhalter's team, but injuries to some of the usual options saw him come into the centre of the pitch, which is where the player - and Leeds - see him playing his best football.
