Legions of staff propped up Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds United regime and with him went the vast majority of the support staff around the first team. Jesse Marsch has brought just Cameron Toshack and Franz Schiemer with him to Thorp Arch thus far, but plans are afoot for those ranks to be bolstered.
The Whites head coach said, understandably, life had been relentless since taking the job in West Yorkshire with this international break the first opportunity he has had to take stock. The American has been thoroughly impressed with the way the staff have rallied around him and the team to pick up the slack inevitably left by a vastly bigger workforce before them.
“We will add to the staff eventually,” he said. “Right now it’s a little bit of just trying to get the rhythm with everybody we have here and I'm very thankful.
