Leeds United will kick-off their 2022-23 campaign with a clash against Wolverhampton Wanderers at Elland Road. The clash is scheduled to take place on Saturday August 6 at 3pm after being overlooked by television broadcasters, whose picks have been revealed for the first Premier League weekend of the season.
The Whites went to Manchester United on the opening day of last season and lost 5-1, they’ll be hoping for a very different result this time around under Jesse Marsch, who will have completed his first pre-season in charge.
Leeds’ start in general looks relatively kind, with a trip to Southampton being the first away trip, before clashes against Chelsea, Brighton, Everton and Brentford to follow. The season will grind to a halt in November for the World Cup, following Leeds’ clash with Tottenham Hotspur in north London.

However, they’ll try to return to action with a win when they face Manchester City at Elland Road on Boxing Day. The run-in looks tricky and they’ll hope to be safe before their final four fixtures against Man City, Newcastle United, West Ham United and Spurs.
