Leeds United have confirmed when their new kits for the 2022/23 season will go on sale for supporters to buy. There has been a delay with kit going on sale, with suppliers Adidas saying the delay was due to 'unprecedented challenges over the past year'.
In a statement in June, they said: “As a result of unprecedented challenges over the past year, we expect to see a delay to Leeds United’s 2022/23 match and training wear. We understand and apologise for any frustration felt by fans at this time."
However, following on from the statement about Adidas' Covid-impacted supply chain issues, Leeds have now provided supporters with an update on the situation.
The club have confirmed that the 2022/23 away kit will be revealed on the week commencing August 1, and a limited stock will go on sale on Thursday, August 4. The initial drop of the new 22/23 away kit will be sold exclusively online to ensure that once sizes are sold out, pre-orders can be made.
Further away kit stock will be put on sale during August.
The Whites' new home strip won't be available for supporters to buy until Thursday, August 25, while the third kit will be released in 'due course' and will go on sale on Thursday, September 22.
