Leeds United are expected to have another tough season in the 2022/23 Premier League, with Sky Bet’s latest odds having the Whites finishing in 15th place. Leeds were embroiled in an intense relegation battle last season, which was decided on the final day, and now the club are preparing for their first full season with Jesse Marsch as manager.
The American has got to work straight away on bringing in players that fit his footballing philosophy and has also had to let go of a couple of important players for the club. Kalvin Phillips and Raphinha have departed Elland Road for Manchester City and Barcelona, respectively, and it remains to be seen how much their absence will be felt on the pitch next season.
The club have responded by bringing in six signings of their own, most of whom have worked under Marsch at some point in their careers with either RB Salzburg or Leipzig. There is also a theme of youth in the additions, with Marc Roca at 25 being the oldest new face out of the six so far this summer.
