Leeds United (4-3-3)
1 Illan Meslier
Only one real save of note in the second half from a close-range header. Blameless for the goals. 6
2 Luke Ayling (c)
Replays would show the penalty he conceded was very soft and a poor decision. Went to ground and was tied up by Gabriel Jesus, but should not be marked down for a penalty that should have never been. However, Gabriel Martinelli had him on toast all afternoon. Let the Brazilian through far too easily in the build-up to the critical second goal. 4
5 Robin Koch
One early jitter as he let a ball run across him on the edge of his own box, but steadied after that and did fine, although he could have done more to keep Leandro Trossard off balance before the third goal. 5

21 Pascal Struijk
A quiet afternoon on his return to the starting line-up. No glaring errors on the goals. Could have been more alive to Jesus's presence on the third goal. 5
3 Junior Firpo
Would have been pleased to see Bukayo Saka was not starting, but generally did okay with Trossard throughout the afternoon. 5
25 Rasmus Kristensen
Got about well and tried to put his foot in as he was no doubt instructed to do in this new role. Not always the quickest or composed with his passing, but a neat finish for the consolation goal. 6
8 Marc Roca
Not a bad afternoon for the Spaniard to say he was under the cosh for a lot of the afternoon. Carried the ball well and got Leeds out of some tight scrapes. 6
11 Jack Harrison
One particularly good effort in the first half stung Aaron Ramsdale's palms. Popped up in some good positions for Leeds and did well enough in defensive phases too. However, fell asleep as Ben White ghosted in for the second goal. 5
23 Luis Sinisterra
Miles off it fitness-wise. Heavy legs made everything with and without the ball look a challenge. Feels like a long time since we saw those halcyon days of the autumn. 3
7 Brenden Aaronson
Set-pieces were a frustration to watch. The usual work rate, but no real impact in the final third. 4
10 Crysencio Summerville
By far the best forward in yellow. Terrorised White at points. Carried the ball well and carried a threat. 7
Substitutes
22 Joel Robles
6 Liam Cooper (on for Koch 74min)
Did fine in the limited time he had on the field. 5
9 Patrick Bamford (on for Harrison 85min)
Late switch. N/A
18 Darko Gyabi
19 Rodrigo (on for Sinisterra 65min)
Put himself about, but the match was lost by the time he came on to build his sharpness for next week. 5
24 Georginio Rutter (on for Summerville 74min)
Didn't see much of him. 5
28 Weston McKennie (on for Aaronson 65min)
A passenger in the middle. 5
42 Sam Greenwood
63 Archie Gray
