Leeds United (4-2-3-1)
1 Illan Meslier
Really not a lot for him to do save for one smart stop down to his bottom-right corner. 6
37 Cody Drameh
A return to Leeds colours and a very solid night for the right-back. Won a lot of his duels and grew in confidence with getting down the field. 7
5 Robin Koch
Like the rest of the defence, there was not a huge amount of work for the defenders to get through, but the Germany international looked very composed. 7

21 Pascal Struijk
Much like Koch, showed confidence and was assertive when he needed to be. Brought the ball out from the back on more than one occasion. 7
3 Junior Firpo
Very encouraging performance down the left flank. Took his goal well and sets a promising foundation for the rest of the summer. All eyes on him as the premier left-back in the group. 7
63 Archie Gray
Made it look effortless on his first-team debut. Full-blooded with his tackling and opportunistic with his passing. Blackpool resorted to kicking him in the second half. 8
8 Marc Roca
Very competent and polished display on his debut in the middle of the park. Showed for the ball, sprayed it around and put his foot in. 7
19 Rodrigo
Wore the armband and looked a leader on the field. Put himself about and took his goal well. Start in an unusual inside-right role. 7
42 Sam Greenwood
Picked up where he left off at the end of last season. Looks so confident with this style of play. Thrives on the intense pressing and has the passing quality to be a threat in transition. 8
22 Jack Harrison
Didn't quite stand out as some of the others did, but a strong voice on the field for some of the younger heads. 6
30 Joe Gelhardt
Had the odd moment in behind the Blackpool backline, but proved to be a quiet evening for the striker in the main. 6
Substitutes
13 Kristoffer Klaesson (on for Meslier h/t)
Did not have a huge amount to do. Came out and charged down one shot really well. 6
4 Adam Forshaw (on for Roca 61min)
Patrolled the midfield comfortably as the match fizzled out. 6
16 Charlie Allen (on for Gray 72min)
Not a heap of time to show much of himself. 6
24 Leif Davis (on for Firpo h/t)
Everything Jesse Marsch and fans would have wanted to see as the club weighs up his future. Clearly the best back-up to Firpo, but there is interest in him. 7
26 Lewis Bate (on for Greenwood 61min)
Didn't stand out. 6
27 Amari Miller (on for Rodrigo h/t)
Flitted in and out of the game without really hurting Blackpool. 6
32 Sean McGurk (on for Harrison 61min)
Showed some nice touches throughout his half an hour on the field. Tricky player. 7
44 Mateo Joseph (on for Gelhardt 61min)
Was on a hugely upward curve through the final weeks of last season with the under-23s and he carried that threat into tonight. Took hid goal very nicely. 7
46 Jamie Shackleton (on for Drameh 61min)
Did well to set Joseph up for the goal in what could be his last appearance in a Leeds shirt. 6
52 Kris Moore (on for Struijk 61min)
Didn't stand out, but no major errors in judgement at the heart of defence. 6
64 Jeremiah Mullen (on for Koch h/t)
One error gave Blackpool a chance, but confident otherwise as he brought the ball out from the back more than once. 6
