Here are the latest Leeds United evening headlines on Tuesday, February 1.
Raphinha set for another Brazil start
Leeds supporters planning to watch Brazil’s World Cup qualifier against Paraguay might want to watch through their fingers with Raphinha expected to start his fifth match in a row for his national team.
The game is due to kick off at 12:30am UK time and everyone involved with the Whites will be desperate for him to come through the match unscathed ahead of his return to Leeds.
Globo Esporte in Brazil claimed that manager Tite will make a number of changes but revealed that Raphinha is likely to retain his place in the starting XI.
In his six appearances for the five-time World Cup winners so far, he is yet to play a full 90 minutes and hopefully he will be withdrawn early again this evening.

Leeds still relegation outsiders after transfer inactivity
Worries of a potential relegation at Elland Road were only exacerbated by Leeds’ lack of business during the January transfer window.
Victor Orta was unable to agree a deal for the club’s main target Brenden Aaronson and an approach with only a few days left for Takumi Minamino was rejected by Liverpool.
Amid the ongoing injury crisis, fans felt that at least a couple of new recruits were needed but no viable options presented themselves.
Despite no new faces coming through the door at Thorp Arch, Sky Bet still view Leeds as very unlikely to be one of three teams to be relegated from the Premier League this season.

Forshaw back in full training
One of the players who has been able to ease the effects of the injuries within the squad this season is Adam Forshaw.
Although, he joined the long list of players in the physio room when he was forced off the pitch with a hamstring injury in the 3-2 win away at West Ham.
He confirmed immediately after the match that it wasn’t a serious one and, according to The Athletic, he is likely to be right back in contention when Leeds return to action against Aston Villa in eight days’ time.
He was said to be involved in one of Marcelo Bielsa’s famous murderball sessions over the weekend, something that players in any injury doubt will not usually be involved in.
