A look at the latest Leeds United headlines on Thursday, 3 October.
Leeds United told to reject Manchester United advances
Alan Hutton has told Football Insider that Leeds United should not let Tyler Adams leave unless it's for silly money. The Red Devils have been linked with a move for the Whites midfielder who has impressed following his summer arrival from RB Leipzig.
Manchester United have been linked with a £20million move for Adams, but both Leeds and the player have been warned against the move.
“I do not think it is a player that they would want to leave," said the former Tottenham and Aston Villa right-back. "He has just come to the club so unless it was for a silly amount of money. I do not think they would let him leave for £5million more.
“Is he going to go to Man United and play? I do not think so. Especially not at this moment in time. Do you want to leave Leeds to become a squad player? I do not think that is ideal when he has just come to the league.
“He wants to show everybody his talent, play where he is playing. Of course if Man United come in for any player they would be desperate to go but is it going to happen? I am not so sure.“
Jesse Marsch finds answer to issue Marcelo Bielsa couldn't crack as statement made
Leeds United look to have finally turned a corner this season when it comes to facing off against the Premier League's 'Big Six'. This term, the Whites have beaten Chelsea 3-0, Liverpool 2-1 and lost to Arsenal 1-0.
And recent work conducted by football statisticians TheOther14 show that Jesse Marsch and co have the best record against the 'Big Six' based on points per game this season.
While Brighton have picked up more points against the 'Big Six' this season with seven, Leeds have picked up six points from just three games against them.
Harry Redknapp's 'fantastic' Crysencio Summerville verdict as Leeds United man hailed
Harry Redknapp has heaped praise on Leeds United youngster Crysencio Summerville after scoring a late winner at Anfield. The Whites' youngster played 90 minutes against Liverpool before being taken off in injury time after giving Jesse Marsch's side the lead.
Summerville was given the number ten shirt this season following Raphinha's departure for Barcelona and channelled the Brazilian's match winning talent, with a winner of his own. The 21-year-old scored on the eve of his birthday in a special moment for both him and his family.
He's been made to bide his time and force his way into Marsch's plans following the summer arrival of Luis Sinisterra. Former Spurs boss Redknapp was that impressed, he put the Leeds match winner in his team of Team of the Week, with BetVictor.
Bournemouth boss Gary O'Neil makes 'irrelevant' comment ahead of Leeds United clash
Bournemouth interim-boss Gary O'Neil claims prior results are irrelevant heading into this weekend's clash with Leeds United. The Cherries have lost three games on the bounce after a bright start under the interim coach, with Jesse Marsch's side buoyant after a surprising win at Liverpool.
O'Neil took over from Scott Parker and guided Bournemouth to a six-game unbeaten streak, the perfect remedy following a 9-0 defeat to Liverpool. The Premier League new boys are still yet to make a decision on their new head coach with O'Neil now into the third month of temporary care of the first-team.
“Three losses on the trot doesn’t mean anything to me at all," he told the Bournemouth Daily Echo. “I think the order in which the results come is irrelevant."
