Here are the latest Leeds United morning headlines on Tuesday, 6 December 2022.
Lukic price tag
Leeds United have reportedly been told that they will have to pay £13 million to sign Torino midfielder Sasa Lukic in January. That is according to Toro.it, who claim there is no shortage of admirers for Lukic with Leeds, Inter Milan, Roma and Lazio all interested.
Lukic has just 18 months left to run on his current deal and as of yet there has been no progress on tying him to fresh terms. Torino Granata state that the Serie A side could look to sell him 'immediately' if a new contract cannot be agreed.
Leipzig resolution
Payment has been made by Leeds United to RB Leipzig as a line is drawn under the two-year-long Jean-Kevin Augustin saga. Last month, Court of Arbitration for Sport ruled the Whites must honour their €21m agreement with the German club for the French striker.

While United’s statement on the resolution does not even mention financial terms, it’s clear an agreement has been reached on the eight-figure sum given the backing Leipzig had through arbitration. The original agreement in 2020 was for three separate instalments, but it’s unclear if the Bundesliga outfit have agreed to such a payment plan now.
A Whites statement said: “Leeds United and RB Leipzig are pleased to announce they have reached an amicable resolution of the dispute between the clubs, further details of which are confidential to the parties.”
Harrison interview
Judgements are easily made on footballers by all spectators. Form and performance is something everyone can see, but the reasons for that can be harder to know.
Jack Harrison began the season with a string of eye-catching performances for Leeds United. The winger’s early underlying data made him stand out as one of the best attacking players in the Premier League.
One goal and three assists from the opening three matches promised much, but Harrison has not troubled those stat columns since. From afar at least, his form had dropped in the weeks leading up to the World Cup and the clamour for options like Wilfried Gnonto grew.
