Here are the latest Leeds United evening headlines on Friday, 9 September.
Bogusz a 'revelation'
Ibiza president Amadeo Salvo has described Leeds United loanee Mateusz Bogusz as a ‘revelation’ after his return to the club last month. Bogusz made the switch to the Spanish Second Division side for the second successive season during the summer window after his impressive campaign last term was cut short due to injury.
The Polish midfielder suffered an ACL injury in January after scoring four goals and providing seven assists in 20 matches. Salvo is hoping for another campaign of a similar level from Bogusz but admits they will need to be ‘patient’ after such a serious injury.
He told Diario de Ibiza: His work was incomplete last season. (He was) one of the revelations of the second division (but) he had the misfortune of injury.

(We could not) replace him because of the level he had offered. This year we have tried and both the persistence of the club and the willingness of Bogusz to return to Ibiza, and the help of Leeds, has got him here.
“He is in the group dynamic, but we have to be patient with him.”
FSA issue statement
The Football Supporters’ Association have described this weekend’s cancellation of fixtures as an ‘opportunity missed’ for fans to pay their respects to the Queen. Following the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, a decision has been made to postpone all Premier League and Football League fixtures planned for this weekend and Monday night.
The decision was taken as a mark of respect, to honour the Queen’s life and contribution to the country. However, a number of other sports such as rugby league, rugby union, cricket and horse racing have announced plans to go ahead this weekend.
It’s a decision that seems to have divided opinion and the FSA have released a statement to voice their disappointment that matches will not be going ahead as planned this weekend. The organisation suggest that football games would have provided supporters with the perfect opportunity and platform to pay tribute to the monarch, who had 70 years on the throne before passing away at the age of 96.

Man United wait
Following the Premier League's announcement that this weekend's fixtures would be postponed and rescheduled due to the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, Leeds United now could face up to a month-long gap between games.
The Whites' home game at Elland Road against Nottingham Forest was called off by the Premier League following Queen Elizabeth II's death, along with all EFL and National League fixtures. The Premier League released a statement saying:
"At a meeting this morning, Premier League clubs paid tribute to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
"To honour her extraordinary life and contribution to the nation, and as a mark of respect, this weekend’s Premier League match round will be postponed, including Monday evening’s game."
