Here are the latest Leeds United morning headlines on Thursday, 24 November.
Leeds United set for Premier League VAR change
The Premier League is looking to adopt a new semi-automated offside system going into the 2023-24 season, according to the Times.
Such a system can be seen in use at the ongoing World Cup in Qatar, where several goals have been ruled out following use of latest integration of technology within the game.
Offside decisions are currently made by assistant referees and, subsequently, VAR if a ‘clear and obvious error’ requires overruling. Nevertheless, human error has led to cases of immense frustration since VAR's Premier League implementation in 2019..

The newly-proposed system will use artificial intelligence and ball-tracking to render a 3D image that will provide a more clear visualisation of an ‘offside’ situation opposed to a static screenshot. It has also been used in in Champions League matches to add clarity and speed to decisions surrounding offside calls.
All 20 Premier League clubs will vote on the respective rule change after the cumulation of the World Cup and is it expected to be passed, with the system deemed as a significant improvement on the current process.
Nine sides reportedly already have the infrastructure in place to implement a semi-automated offside system through VAR.
Leeds United man given brutal World Cup rating
Leeds United defender and Danish international Rasmus Kristensen has received a '2/6' rating from Danish newspaper Ekstra Bladet after his poor performance against Tunisia in Denmark's opening Group D match of the 2022 World Cup.
Kristensen played all 90 minutes of the match but was booked after just 24 minutes for a late challenge on Tunisian midfielder Aissa Ladouni as the match finished 0-0.
The highest rating any player received was goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel who was given a 4/6 after keeping the Danes in the match with some fantastic saves but most of the side averaged only a three.
Only Kristensen and right-hand-side teammate Skov Olsen received ratings of two after their lacklustre showing going forward and the Leeds defender's poor defensive quality throughout the match.
"They do not become dangerous. It’s not because he flops, but Nissen just doesn’t do anything offensive that is good enough and that we expect from him and have seen from him. He tries, but did not succeed."
Transfer target's stance revealed ahead of 'inevitable' departure
Birmingham City youngster George Hall has been a target of Leeds United since the summer transfer window and now the Whites might finally get the deal over the line in January.
The Blues are willing to let the 18-year-old go in the January transfer window to secure the necessary funds to pull current Wolverhampton Wanderers loanee Dion Sanderson to St. Andrews on a permanent deal.
According to the Daily Mail, Birmingham accept that Hall's departure to Elland Road is 'inevitable' but will still put up a fight for his services.
Hall has started just five times for the Blues this season but has made numerous substitute appearances in one of which he found the assist to Scott Hogan's equaliser against Burnley in October.
