Here are the latest Leeds United evening headlines on Monday, April 4.
More Rodrigo praise
Former Leeds United striker Noel Whelan has praised Rodrigo Moreno for the improvement in his performances under Jesse Marsch. Rodrigo is enjoying one of his best spells of form at Elland Road, scoring two goals in his last three matches and providing the Whites with a constant source of creativity.
Marsch has handed the Spain international a bigger role within the dressing room since his arrival, which seems to have transferred into his performances on the pitch. Speaking to Football Insider, Whelan believes he is playing with a lot more confidence under Marsch, which is why he is getting on the ball more.
“Rodrigo has massively improved under Marsch. I think he has been given more belief by the manager. He is getting on the ball more and seems to have more time to influence the game on the ball over the course of the 90 minutes. That is what you want from him.”

Marsch praises Harrison
Jesse Marsch has heaped praise on Jack Harrison after the Leeds United winger netted his sixth goal of the season in their 1-1 draw against Southampton. The 25-year-old scored the Whites' opener, poking home from close-range to spark delirium at Elland Road.
With Harrison seemingly becoming a mainstay in the Leeds team since Marsch's arrival, it has given him an opportunity to get regular game time after being in and out of the team under Bielsa. And the American has admitted that Harrison is becoming a 'big' player for his side.
He said: "I feel like Jack is becoming a really solid, clear, intelligent, intensive player for us. So you know, obviously, we want to keep developing him and keep pushing him but I’ve been really happy with the progress that he’s made over the last month.
"I think if he can continue to understand tactically and understand the mentality of the way we want to play, that he can get better and better and better. So yeah, and then I think again, all the players ahead of the ball will be able to put together more more dangerous actions and find more goals."

Cooper history
A lot has changed since Liam Cooper arrived at Leeds United back in 2014, although the defender has become part of the furniture at Elland Road. He has polarised supporters at times but has never once been deemed surplus to requirements, despite having been judged by 10 different managers during his time at the club.
His outing against Southampton was his first under current head coach Jesse Marsch and as explained by Opta's Jonny Cooper, his appearance made him the first Leeds player to make a league appearance under 10 different managers. David Hockaday, Darko Milanic, Neil Redfearn, Uwe Rosler, Steve Evans, Garry Monk, Thomas Christiansen, Paul Heckingbottom and Marcelo Bielsa are the other nine bosses he has previously played under.
