Relegation loan clause reports offer insight into Leeds United's summer task
As Leeds United wait for the EFL confirmation of 49ers Enterprises' takeover that will kick-start their summer business, a report in the Mail claims that the club are bracing themselves for a series of exits thanks to loan clauses included in a number of players' deals that could kick in following their relegation to the Championship.
As previously reported, Brenden Aaronson has been the subject of interest from Fulham, while Rasmus Kristensen was linked with Roma at the weekend. The report adds that Tyler Adams and Illan Meslier have drop clauses, while adding that Wilfried Gnonto, Crysencio Summerville, Robin Koch, Georginio Rutter, Rodrigo and Jack Harrison all have question marks next them ahead of the new campaign.

Gnonto nets vital Italy goal
Leeds United forward Wilfried Gnonto bagged a vital goal on Sunday as Italy under-21s beat Switzerland 3-2 in the European Championships.
Following defeat to France in their opening match, the Azzurri knew it was a must-win game at the Cluj Arena and they raced into a 3-0 lead in the first half.
Gnonto bagged their second goal, bundling the ball home at the second attempt after his initial header from Raoul Bellanova's cross.
The win lifted Italy above Switzerland into second place and they now face Norway under-21s in their final group game knowing if they match Switzerland's result they will seal a place in the quarter-finals.
Robbie Keane lands head coach role
Former Leeds United coach Robbie Keane has been appointed by Maccabi Tel Aviv’s as the club's new head coach. The job is Keane’s first permanent, full-time head coach role and he joins the Israeli Premier League club on a two-year deal.
The Irishman will be tasked with ending Maccabi’s three-year title drought by building on their third-place finish last time around and progressing in the Europa Conference League. Keane spent the back end of last season at Elland Road after being hired as a first-team coach, alongside Karl Robinson, to provide short-term boss Sam Allardyce with a helping hand during the last four games of the campaign.
Unfortunately, despite being well received at Elland Road and Thorp Arch, he couldn’t help Leeds retain their Premier League status and he was subsequently allowed to leave the club at the end of the season. He hasn’t been out of work too long, though and he’ll be looking forward to taking the lead role in Tel Aviv.
