Pundit states Whites are his 'favourite' team

Leeds United secured another season in the Premier League as a dramatic final day unfolded, which saw Burnley's result against Newcastle go in their favour, while the Whites won at Brentford. Leeds fans have been revelling in the fact that their side beat the odds on the last day of the season and pundit and former Tottenham manager, Tim Sherwood, has stated how pleased he is that the club will remain in the top flight.

Speaking on MatchDay extra on Premier League ProductionsLP (as reported by HITC ), Sherwood said: "It’s a hectic football club and that’s why we love them. It has been brilliant. Since they have been in the Premier League, they are my favourite team to watch.

"I want to watch Leeds because they score lots of goals. But that has nearly taken them down. Before the result, that was the difference. Goal difference gave Burnley the advantage."

Marsch, Raphinha, Jansson among Leeds United moments missed

Leeds reporter, Beren Cross has shared the moments some might have missed on a chaotic day. One of those which stood out was how some members of the celebrating Leeds squad and stuff drew the ire of Brentford fans as they waited for their team to come back out onto the pitch for their final day lap of honour.

Liam Cooper thanks Leeds United's behind-the-scenes heroes

Liam Cooper took to social media to thank Leeds' medical team, after a season in which the side had been absolutely decimated by injuries. On the final day of the season, Leeds were without key players in Luke Ayling, Stuart Dallas, Adam Forshaw & Patrick Bamford, whilst many more had missed significant parts of the season.

Leeds' captain wrote that the Rob Price and Henry McStay had 'kept [them] going'. He also alluded to difficult times for the players on a mental level as so many had struggled for fitness as he said, "Not been a pleasant place at times that treatment room."
