Here are this morning's latest Leeds United headlines on Saturday, July 1.
Fulham 'end interest' in Leeds United's Brenden Aaronson
It's the start of July as the calendars flipping over for a new month is another reminder that Leeds United have a lot of work to do in the transfer market over the next few weeks.
There are a host of players likely to leave the club between now and the start of September, either on loan or on permanent deals. United States midfielder Brenden Aaronson was an early name to be linked with a move away this summer, amid reports of a relegation clause in his contract that kicked in when the Whites were dumped out of the Premier League.
Fulham were an early side to be linked with the 22-year-old and were said to have enquired about his availability, but according to the Mail, they have 'stopped short' of making an offer for the former RB Salzburg man.
This could clear the way for German side Union Berlin to make a move for Aaronson, after the Telegraph reported this week that they too are interested in signing him.

Leeds United can manipulate brief stay of execution before head coach concerns
Testing on day one of Leeds United’s pre-season will buy the club a little time if they continue to delay a head coach announcement. As it stands, 49ers Enterprises is waiting on EFL ratification of its takeover before unveiling its first major decision as majority shareholder at Elland Road.
Ideally, the incoming ownership group, fronted by chairman-elect Paraag Marathe, wants to see a clean break from Andrea Radrizzani’s tenure before setting out its own stall with a new head coach. Daniel Farke is widely expected to be the candidate appointed to the position.
However, with no sign of a green light from the league, pre-season and competitive football rapidly approaching, United may need to reassess their timeline. One saving grace which would buy them at least another day, if not two, will be the plan for the start of next week.
Marcelo Bielsa has told Leeds United supporters what to expect from Daniel Farke
Two-time Championship promotion winner Daniel Farke is the front runner to take over at Elland Road following the Whites relegation from the Premier League. Leeds United are still awaiting the green light from the EFL to approve 49ers Enterprises' takeover at the club after agreeing a deal with Andrea Radrizzani.
The Whites have been unable to make any inroads in the transfer market with pre-season fast approaching. There have been plenty of candidates linked with the vacant managerial position at Elland Road this summer.
Patrick Vieira was one of the big names linked with the managerial hot seat after Sam Allardyce's departure last month, but he looks set to move to Ligue 1 club Strasbourg. That leaves former Norwich City boss Farke as the outstanding candidate and he's expected to take over the reins at Elland Road in the coming weeks.
