Here are your latest Leeds United headlines for Saturday, October 22.
PL results intensify pressure on Leeds
Nottingham Forest climbed off the bottom of the table and to within one-point of Leeds United with their 1-0 victory over Liverpool at the City Ground on Saturday. Forest have been replaced at the foot of the table by Leicester City, who tightened the gap behind Leeds to one-point with their 2-0 win at the King Power Stadium on Thursday.
Leeds' defeat against the Foxes was their third on the spin and fourth in their last five games. They're currently level on points with 18th place Wolves and only sit outside of the relegation zone due to their superior goal difference over Aston Villa, Wolves and Forest respectively.

Is must be added that Leeds boast two games in hand over Forest, and a game in hand on Aston Villa, Wolves and Leicester, but their poor form of late has intensified relegation concerns at Elland Road.
Everton also won 3-0 against Crystal Palace at Goodison Park to climb four points clear of Leeds and the relegation zone. Leeds play host to Fulham at Elland Road on Sunday, while Wolves face Leicester, and Aston Villa play at home against Brentford at the same time.
'Top drawer' Mateo Joseph hailed following latest Leeds United U21s hat-trick
Mateo Joseph scored his third hat-trick of the season as Leeds United U21s saw off Middlesbrough 4-2 at Rockliffe Park. The forward has been in prolific form lately and he notched his 12th goal of the season on Saturday, just a few days after his 19th birthday, to help the Whites move six points clear at the top of the Premier League 2 Division 2 table.
The Whites actually fell behind in the game and trailed at the break due to Calum Kavanagh’s opener for the home side. However, the introductions of Sean McGurk and Joe Snowdon provided the spark the Whites needed in the second half and 16 minutes after the break, Leeds equalised as Joseph followed up on Sonny Perkins’ parried shot.
McGurk bagged a second a few minutes later, with a curling effort from outside the box, before Joseph gave Leeds a comfortable lead. The Spanish forward was on hand once more in the dying moments of the clash to complete his hat-trick and ensure Leeds bounced back to winning ways following their first defeat of the season last time out at Bolton Wanderers.
Pundits predictions as Leeds United backed to ease pressure valve against Fulham
Leeds United will be desperate to return to winning ways when they host Fulham at Elland Road on Sunday. The Whites are winless in seven matches having last tasted success over two months ago in the 3-0 win over Chelsea in August.
The pressure on Jesse Marsch was cranked up enormously on Thursday night following the 2-0 defeat at Leicester City and Leeds are only out of the bottom three on goal difference. Fulham, meanwhile, will be full of confidence after their emphatic 3-0 win over Aston Villa took them up to ninth in the Premier League table.
Pundits from across the media have also been giving their predictions on Sunday's match, and LeedsLive have rounded them up for you.
