The Leeds academy graduate spent eight years at the club before leaving Elland Road for Hibernian last summer. He failed to make his first team bow for the Whites, but has received regular playing time at Hibernian, and also on loan at Ross County.

Kenneh says he is "enjoying" his football in Scotland but still has ambitions to return to England and play in the top-flight.

“I was at Leeds academy, maybe 10 or 11, learning all [about] the academy systems and then I went to the first team in the Premier League [but didn’t get the chance to play],” recalled Kenneh via Front Page Africa.

“And I wanted to play more football. That’s why I went to Scotland. I am now playing football and enjoying myself. We will see what happens in the future hopefully.”

“For every player, that’s the goal [to play in the Premier League]. And for me it is just every day taking it step-by-step.

“I am training and in matches trying to improve myself because I don’t want to be too big-headed and focused all day that I need to be in the Premier League, no. I just need to improve myself as a player and everything that’s going to happen will happen.”

The 19-year-old joined Leeds from FC Zurich on transfer deadline day in September 2022 for a fee of just over £4 million.

Former Leeds United man lays out stakes for Bournemouth clash amid Premier League run-in concern

Paul Robinson has claimed Leeds United "must-win" against AFC Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

Leeds ended a run of three straight defeats by drawing 1-1 against Leicester City on Tuesday night. However, the Whites were denied a first win in four, after Luis Sinisterra's 20th minute header was cancelled out by Jamie Vardy's equaliser 10 minutes from time.

Javi Gracia 's men sit two places and one-point above the relegation zone as it stands but face a tough run-in with the likes of Manchester City and Newcastle United still to play.
