Leeds climbed into 14th place and moved two points clear of the relegation zone after defeating Wolves 4-2 at Molineux on Saturday.
Javi Gracia has registered seven points from his first four league games at the helm, and Leeds midfielder Roca is convinced that they will avoid the drop come the end of the season.
“We have to finish the season off. It’s been tough but we’re ready and we’re convinced we’ll achieve what we have to," Roca told The Athletic.
He added: "We have the confidence. We see [ourselves] in training and the team is young and hungry. We will do it.”
Firpo making Leeds United strides as Rutter and Gnonto challenged in Gracia's first month
Javi Gracia is four Premier League games into his Leeds United tenure and he’s already managed to make progress at Elland Road. The Spaniard has managed to earn seven points so far and that has been enough to lift the club out of the relegation zone and up to 14 th in the league table.
Wins have come over Southampton and Wolves, with a very respectable draw against Brighton and Hove Albion at Elland Road being nestled in between, and performances have certainly bolstered the belief around the club that they can beat the drop. However, with 11 games remaining Gracia knows he has plenty of work to do if he is to finish the job and secure a fourth straight season of top flight football for the Whites.
Here’s a look at the winners and losers of Gracia’s short time at the helm so far.
'Give me another year' - Luke Ayling and Robbie Keane's brilliant exchange after 'failed' celebration
Robbie Keane has responded to Leeds United defender Luke Ayling's version of his iconic celebration following his goal against Wolves in the 4-2 win over the weekend.
The Whites star nodded home Marc Roca's corner from close range just after halftime to give Javi Gracia's side a 2-0 lead after Jack Harrison's early opener before goals from Rasmus Kristensen and Rodrigo wrapped up the occasion.
However, after his goal, Ayling ran over to the touchline before ending up spectacularly failing the inspired celebration with former Leeds striker Keane's version seeing him do a cartwheel, a forward roll and finger pistols.
