Here are the latest Leeds United headlines on Monday, June 13.
Kalvin Phillips denies England fatigue issues
Leeds United's Kalvin Phillips has returned to the England squad after missing the previous one due to the hamstring injury he suffered in December. However, there are many that have argued that the post-season international fixtures are unnecessary after a season-and-a-half of almost non-stop football.
Phillips has denied that the players are suffering from fatigue though. Speaking to press following England's 0-0 draw with Italy at the weekend, the Leeds midfielder said:
"No, not really. If you were able to watch us train every day, watch the way that we're performing in training, the level of intensity in training you wouldn't look at us and say that we are fatigued.

"I don't think in the games we've looked fatigued either. It has been a tough group against tough opponents and some teams are going to have more possession than we'd like them to have.
"But that is the quality of the teams we are in competition against. We don't feel fatigued and hopefully we don't look it either."
Southgate's goals ‘concern’ which could be solved by Patrick Bamford
Patrick Bamford's injury-hit season might have knocked him back in the pecking order of England strikers, as the Leeds number nine picked up his first injury of the season immediately following his first experience of an England camp. He has subsequently missed out on every other squad since, as the Whites struggled to get their top scorer of the previous two seasons back onto the field.
However, the Nottingham-born striker could earn himself another chance before the World Cup if he can start next season in good form as England have struggled for goals recently. Gareth Southgate said: "We're very, very reliant on Harry and Raheem for our goals at the moment and that is a concern."
Leeds told who to sign as Raphinha replacement
Ex-Leeds goalkeeper Paul Robinson has been speaking about how the club will deal with the expected sale of star winger, Raphinha, who he has stated that he would be 'surprised' to see stay at Elland Road. According to Robinson, links to Sporting Lisbon's Gonzalo Plata as a replacement for the Brazilian make sense.
"He sounds very much like a Raphinha type of player.” Robinson told MOT Leeds News . “They seem to be highly sought-after, these wingers who play on the opposite side to what foot they are."
