Jack Harrison 'considering' Leeds United future amid Elland Road exit interest
Leeds United star Jack Harrison has reportedly taken time to 'consider' his options for the future after reports suggested he was close to signing a new contract with the Whites, just days after nearly leaving the club in the January transfer window.
The 26-year-old, who was a target for Leicester City, Aston Villa and Newcastle United across all of last month, was reportedly at the Foxes' training ground to have his medical done before Leeds chiefs pulled the plug on the deal.
But according to 90Min, Harrison is only set to agree to the latest terms offered to him if he has full faith he'll be part of manager Jesse Marsch's plans for the future.
The Whites winger only has 18 months left on his current deal, but Marsch admitted in his press conference yesterday that it took until the 11th hour to see "it was clear we want[ed] to Jack to stay" and that they are working on getting the" contract extension finalised because Jack has earned it and he's an important guy in our squad".
Leeds United injury news in full with Robin Koch suspended for Nottingham Forest clash
Leeds United will be missing a number of key players for their trip to the City Ground on Sunday as Jesse Marsch's side look for their first win since November. The Whites were dealt a big blow earlier this week, with Rodrigo set to miss six to eight weeks after picking up an ankle injury following their win at Accrington Stanley in the FA Cup.
Marsch's men have not won in the Premier League since their win over Bournemouth, prior to the World Cup. The Whites have shown signs of improvement and they'll be hoping their torrid run comes to an end this time out.

Ibiza sporting director lifts the lid on Mateusz Bogusz dispute
UD Ibiza sporting director Miguel Ángel Gómez says Leeds United are “a friendly club” despite a disagreement over loanee Mateusz Bogusz in January. The Polish attacking midfielder was reportedly given the green light to leave the Spanish second tier side, with links to LAFC at the end of the January transfer window.
Bogusz, who has been on loan with the Spanish side since the 2021 campaign picking up an injury in his original loan spell and then extending his deal at the start of this season, has made 16 appearances in LaLiga 2 this season. A lack of game time saw speculation mount in the recent window, suggesting the Whites could cash in on the 21-year-old, or send him elsewhere on loan.
However, that move would not transpire and he's set to stay with Ibiza for the remainder of the campaign.
